About Front Desk: Front desk staff doesn’t doing there’s job. I informed front desk (Lisa) that I have insurance and they are covering 70% of retainer cost. At the appointment my daughter received retainer and left. One hour later Lisa call her when she was on her way to college, and roughly informed her that she have to immediately return and pay full amount for the job. My daughter called me, scarred and crying, try to tell me about the call. I called back to the office and Lisa repeated me the same thing that I have to immediately pay for the visit. I reminded her, that prior to scheduling the appointment, I provided the office with my insurance information and she sent pre-estimate to insurance, and received approval for payment. She didn’t want to listen me, and repeatedly was stating that I have to pay today, since retainer was given to my daughter. I told her that my daughter can return retainer and pick it up when payment will be completed. She told me OK, but one hour later call me back and tolled that they can’t take retainer back. I repeat her that office has my insurance information and they should send the bill to them. I asked her to send me invoice as soon as they will receive insurance payment and promised to pay my portion as soon as insurance will pay them. One month later Lisa left voice mail on my wife’s cell phone, that if we will not pay amount in full, then they will send it to collection. I called back to her, and she the same rough way start threatening me with collection bureau. She stated that they sent bill to insurance, but they will not send payment to them and I must pay right now or they will send it to collection. I called to insurance to verify, and they told me that dental office incorrectly completed paperwork and didn’t check the box to send payment to the office. In this case they will send payment to me, but since it was just processed it will take 10 to 15 days to receive the payment. This office very rough and unprofessional.
