Dr. Hoag was recommended to me by a friend, who said he is "the best damn Dentist in San Diego". With such a recommendation I had to give him a try. The staff is very pleasant and the facilities are nice. Dr. Hoag has a very good, professional manner, constantly reassuring and keeping you informed of what he is doing. I had a checkup, a cap replaced and my teeth cleaned. The cost was very reasonably. My friend says Dr. H. also reads the journals and keeps up with the latest technical developments.
Since I had just had a terrible experience with my previous dentist, who threatened me with a root canal and wanted to charge me up to several thousand dollars for work that Dr. H. did not find, I was exstatic to find Dr. H. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
