Dr. Huerter came highly recommended by our dentist and a friend of ours. Our first child had successful treatment, but we never believed him when he kept telling us Dr. Huerter only wore gloves when a parent accompanied a patient into the back room. Our second child had very differing orthodontal needs that were not met and ended up needing surgery that the treatment we were sent to Dr. Huerter for should have avoided. This child's specific orthodontal needs to the bottom teeth were never treated, only the top teeth like every other patient. Both children agreed (that hardly ever happens) that gloves were worn only in the presence of adults and not always changed between patients. If you decide to go to Dr. Huerter, please go with your child into the back room at every visit even though it is discouraged! The staff has always been very friendly and competent.
