Dr. Gottfried was my orthodontist during middle school and my first year of high school from 1999 to 2001.
Recently when I switched dentists, my new dentist asked my why I had ripped my braces out myself. This was a surprise to me because Dr. Gottfried had removed the braces upon completion of treatment. My dentist told me that it looked like an amateur removed them and the glue he left on my molars was the cause for fairly serious tooth decay that had occurred there.
In addition to this the braces did nothing to straighten my teeth and the service was very poor and exorbitantly expensive.
