My overall experience at Lopatkin has been greatly altered by his administrative staff. They are rude, and they lie to you about appt. availablity. They are unprofessional and very rude, and will tell you there are no appointments available for 2 months if they do not "like" you. I know it sounds ridiculous, but this actually happened to my wife twice. On two occasions, she was told no appointments were open after 5pm for two months. I called 10 minutes later on both occasions and was able to make an appt. after 5pm for myself, for the following week. Furhtermore, the girl who files Insurance documentation seems entirely imcompetent. After 5 wrong submissions on her part, she finally asked my wife and I to "take care of it" ourselves, which we refused to do - we are paying his office thousands of dollars!!!
I have been satisfied with the orthodontic treatment and still have a few months left to go. The Dr. and his orthodontic staff are very friendly and his facilities are top-notch and clean. It is unfortunate that he employs unprofessional, rude, and incompetent administrative staff, because it has greatly changed my overall experience, and prevents me from wholeheartly reccomending his office for your orthodontic work.
