Dr. Robert Leon Fisher DDS is a man way ahead of his time. He has been licensed since 1920 and a specialist in Orthodontics and Functional Jaw Orthopedics. He is also considered the father of Dental Anthropology, as his 1953 book "An Introduction to the Human Masticatory Appratus." continues to be way ahead of its time. His pivotal observation: There were no cavities or need for braces in the era of uncooked food and long-term breastfeeding--it has to do with food purity and jaw development

Dr. Fisher uses "devices" rather than wires and brackets. Rather than push on teeth or gums, the devices cause your own muscles to increase the size of the jaw and make room so crowded teeth fall naturally into place. He has treated a number of celebrities (no room here to give their names) but I'll tell you.
Dr. Fisher was like a father to me. He charged me very little during the 1.5 years of treatment. I can't tell you how many dozens of lunches and dinners and hours on the phone we had together.
Unfortunately, Dr. Fisher is currently in temporary retirement for health reasons (he's over 90) and I hope he comes back soon.
