Dr. Pagonis has been ok, been seeing him for 15 years now. I have Aetna Indemnity Dental Insurance and never have any copays for regular cleanings, checkups and XRAYs. He is pleasant enough and does not push too hard on additional dental work that you don't feel you need. At one point he suggested that I remove my wisdom teeth a while back but did not push it afterward since the teeth were doing ok and were not causing me problems. He's been gentle enough during exams, unlike other dentists I've had. I've never had to have cavities drilled or teeth extracted by him, though.
His hygienist is the main reason I still go there. as she is very gentle and attentive about her work (I have gum recession and some sensitive areas).
The staff is very accommodating about rescheduling appointments.
Minuses: On several occasions over the years he has not been present to check up on me after the cleaning, and I haven't been real keen about that aspect. There should at least someone there as a a backup.
