My daughter went to Dr. K for 8 yrs. His receptionist (his niece) was always rude. Her braces were complete & she was just doing retainer checks. We missed a check due to me being diagnosed w/breast cancer. A retainer was the last thing on my mind.When I realized we hadn’t been there in awhile, I called but couldn’t get in for 3 months. My 80 yr old parents took her for me. I forgot to tell them to call first due to their still very strict Covid rules. They were yelled at by the receptionist & thrown masks for walking in without calling. My daughter texted me saying how mean they were being treated. I got a phone call from the receptionist. She was condescending & RUDE.When I told her she didn’t need to speak to me that way, she hung up on me. I was furious, called back to talk to Dr. K. He treated me just as rudely, telling me he stood behind her all the way and then said, “NEXT” to me. I was appalled & hurt due to our long relationship. The level of unprofessionalism was inexcusable.

Our office has a zero tolerance for patients who are belittle and yell at our staff. You were warned that your phone behavior was unacceptable at the time of your phone call. We wish you good health and well being as you move on to another practice that may be more tolerant of your behavior.
