I take my 11 year old son to Dr. Cope and the experience has been great. Dr. Cope uses the latest brace bracket technology which makes the treatment shorter and the frequency of adjustment visits far less. My son's friends go monthly to have their brackets tightened, but I only take my son in about every 6 or 8 weeks in most cases. Evidently the arch wire is special and it contantly retensions all month long as it is exposed to different temperatures of things going into the mouth. This constant retensioning of the arch wire also seems to be much easier on my son because he never complains about day after soreness - when i was a kid a remmeber not being able to eat for 2 days after a visit. I will start my daughter as soon as she looses a couple remaining baby teeth. I definitly recommend Dr. Cope.
