Started out with 2 kids in ortho treatment using monthly balanced billing. Dr. Wilkinson had a dispute with her landlord and the landlord shut her down for non-payment of rent. Dr. Wilkinson did not communicate to her patients that she was no longer available. You just showed up at your apt time and no ortho office. Her office continued to draft monthly payments though. When she opened back up, the accounting department couldn't tell who had paid what. After several months of being overcharged and double charged we finally got our bill straightened out and we were back to paying the correct amount once a month. Went in to make a payment - and instead of just taking the monthly charge the office charged the ENTIRE balance due on my credit card. When I confronted them about it - they told me they "thought" I was paying the entire amount. Why would I do that? For the past 6 months the billing department has been nothing short of a nightmare. Don't go there if you expect any kind of customer service, support or communication. Scary that a doctor's office can just shut down and not even bother to tell you and keep charging you. Beware.
