My daughter had her braces from Paul's father (who retired just as she finished her treatment.) We were very happy with the father but not so happy with the son(Paul) . My Son had his work done by Paul. The office was very fancy but felt like a factory with most of the work done by assistants. It was efficient and you never had to wait but the care was often substandard. Many times we had to return after a couple of days because a wire was not trimmed off properly and was sticking into his cheek. Many of the assistants that actually did the work didn't seem that experienced.
When my daughter's work was finished she asked to have the permanent retainers (little wires on the back of the teeth) rather than the kind you have to wear every night. Paul said that they didn't work well and he was not willing to use them. (all of my daughter's friends had them and they worked fine). During HS and college my daughter didn't do a good job of wearing her retainers and her teeth got slightly crooked. She went back to Paul to get an estimate to re straighten and he wanted to charge her full price ($4500). She went to another orthodontist who did the whole job including the permanent retainers for less than $2200 in just 6 months.
