I starting taking my 2 daughters to this dentist in 2004 because it was close and the doctor and staff seemed nice. Prior to using this dentist (we previously went to the Children's Dental Village in Tempe and have now gone back!) my children never had an issue going to the dentist. That all changed once we started using this dentist. Dental visits became a nightmare! One hygenist in particular had a nasty demeanor with my children and had NO patience especially when it came to X-rays. My children became so anxious about dental procedures and the entire staff was not very understanding or accomodating. In fact, Dr. Quackenbush refused to perform any dental procedures on my child without putting her under general anaethesia and I would not even be allowed in the room - RED FLAG!!! So, I called my previous dentist, Children's Dental Village, and got a second opinion. Dr. Padilla, with Children's Dental Village, with her amazing calmness and wonderful demeanor was able to perform every procedure needed on my daughter without knocking her out completely and with me at her side. Now that we have gone back to our previous dentist, dental visits are now a pleasurable experience. I would not recommend Dr. Quackenbush.
