Dr. Wiley and his staff were wonderful for my daughter. All of her dental experiences were positive. After each appointment Dr. Wiley would show me my children's x-rays on a computer, magnifying so I could easily see what he was seeing. His manner with me was excellent as well.
One day in the car my son said if I knew the things Dr. Wiley said to him he knew I probably would never take him back. It broke my heart to hear him tell me how dismissive Dr. Wiley was to his pain and how his staff would ask him why he couldn't be as good of a patient as his little sister. It bothered me because I would expect a pediatric dentist to be good with children.
I took my son to my dentist where it was discovered he had some nerves exposed on his teeth, thus causing the pain during cleanings. The dentist took care of that issue and his cleanings are pain free now however he continues to have dental anxiety because of his early dental experiences. I regret trusting Dr. Wiley with my son's dental care.
