I had a good initial impression. Dr Law was accommodating,
personable. Very nice assistants .They fixed a cavity for my daughter .
Then we had a crisis. My son chipped both his permanent front teeth and we rushed there with the chips. Dr Law said he would 'ask around' if there were any new bonding techniques , but he said the teeth needed to rest for a couple of weeks. They put the chips in a refrigerator.
My husband called back later and then Dr Law said he had only tried bonding once, a couple of years ago and it had failed.
A bit later the same day the receptionist (!!!) called back saying that Dr Law had been thinking about it, and he thought it would be better if my son was seen by mine and my husband's dentist, since he, as a pediatric dentist (!!!) had little experience of chipped teeth.
The next morning we went to UCSF and they put the broken chips back in place. (Since the pulp was exposed they said the teeth would have been at risk for infection if they had been left uncovered for more than a couple of days.)l The front teeth have held up well for almost 2 years.
(My daughter's filling also failed and she need to have a crown by our new dentist.)
It was a very disappointing and agonizing experience.
