I brougth my son ~4 years old in for regular dental visit through a referal from a well rated (through google) office staff and berkeley parent network. They are out of my network. I still brought my son in expecting to receive the best quality for my son's visit since my insurance shall cover 100% allowance of routin dental visit. Dr. Harmon only work on very limited days in this office, the appoint was made almost two months ago. This office is very good at confirming the appointment though. Everything feels quite well over the phone unless after we step in. The staff is not patient in answering my questions about the cost, benefit. The x-ray was not well taken and has to takes an additional one, this additional one even charged to my account, which lead to a lot of time for me to explain and pursade the staff in moving that. After they remove the additional x-ray's charge, they increase the default x-ray's to make up the difference and even make rediculous explaination saying that this will maximize my benefit. I'd love to pay extra for the service and but unfair to pay for something they are playing with the rules. The visit totally end up over $800 with very rough fluride treatment!
