My children had been to the dentist several times before (2yr old son 2x, 4yr old daughter 4x) so I was a little worried how the kids would take the switch. They LOVED Dr. Shitabata. My son was a trooper and went first. He had a full exam and cleaning and even took x-rays! When it was my daughter's turn she went right up in the chair and fully cooperated with a full exam and cleaning then x-rays as well. Dr. Shitabata had a great rapport with the kids, was very gentle and throrough and explained EVERYTHING very clearly. I highly recommend her - she runs a top notch practice for sure. The bonus is she's on our list of recommended dentists on our insurance.
