My daughter, age 9 now, calls Dr. Sumikawa..."Uncle David." After her first visit (between age 1-2 I think) she has never been afraid of going back...even after "uncle david" has done some preventative teeth pulling due to her small jaw. She is the total opposite of how I was at her age and I'm grateful that "uncle david" and his staff has played a huge part in that. I continue to recommend my friend's who are looking for a pediatric dentist to "uncle david."
