After one specific filling and for the next five years, every time I went into the office I complained about that particular side of my mouth. For example when I drank cold water or had ice cream, I had extreme shooting pains throughout my jaw that were undescribeable. It was horrible, I told my mom and she told me to bring it up at the next visit. Well everytime I mentioned it, Dr. Fagg shrugged it off as possibly due to some other factor. Well after those five years I was chewing gum and thats when it hit. I had horrible pain in the area of that cavity. I couldn't eat or do anything. Dr. Fagg's office had me in for an emergency visit. When I arrived, I did not meet with Dr. Fagg but a new female dentist who I had never met before and who had apparently just joined his practice. She explained to me nothing, no x-rays. Just sat me there and said you need to go to a new dentist, one who will take care of you and manage your adult records. I was 14 and was just like "you are my dentist and you are telling me to go elsewhere..and it's an emergency!" Later, I had an x-ray and it was determined that Dr. Fagg drilled too far, the filling touched the nerve and caused an allergice reaction that was killing the nerve over the last 5 yrs.
