My kids have been going to Dr. Gavris for several years. She's very funny and has a great way with my kids, but her humor is dry. For those that might not appreciate dry humor, she may not be your cup o' tea. What I liked most about her was that our former dentist was aggressively pushing for my son to have teeth pulled at a young age for predicted crowding. It turns out that his teeth corrected themselves of their own accord for the most part. She also works with the cleft palate team for my daughter so that there is communication between the two dental care facilities.
In my opinion, she tends to promote natural courses of action vs. drastic measures that can also be costly both in pain and money.
