Dr. Garvey performed gum graft surgery for me (March 6, 2008). I was very apprehensive after my husband had the same procedure done a couple years ago by another Periodontist and was in pain for a long time.
Dr. Garvey was very gentle and caring, took the time to explain the procedure to me, answered all my questions patiently. His office staff is equally gentle, caring, and patient. Due to my apprehension, I called them numerous times before my surgery. None of them ever made me feel like I was a pest, bothering them.
The procedure went extremely smoothly, I did not have any pain afterwards. The healing process has been exactly as he described. The office staff ably took care of all insurance communications. The cost for the surgery is not cheap, but this is not a cheap procedure. The cost is on par with my husband's Periodontist.
I wish all my doctors (not just dentist) are like Dr. Garvey. He gets my HIGHEST recommendation!!
