Absolutely an awful customer service experience! When I called to make the appointment I explained that their grandmother would be bring them. One hour before the appointment I called again to make sure they understood what treatment we needed, and again told them that their grandmother was bringing them in. Once they arrived, the dentist refused to treat them since their "mother" didn't come in. Supposedly, due to a new "law" they needed a note from me, of course one child was in 6 months before with her grandmother and it was no problem--were they breaking the law then? Their excuse " I am just a secretary here" . Train your staff Doctor. People take time off work, take kids out of school and some drive a long distance to accommodate your availability, the least you can do is proper communication and training of your staff so not to waste other people time.
