We've seen this dentist 3 times, once for a cleaning/ concern about a tooth, again for concern about a tooth, which eventually fell out and recently for a filling. She is 4 years old. She had nitris oxide (gas) to prepare her. The other 2 times he seemed like a good dentist, although I felt rushed during her appts. He seemed to know alot about his profession. This last time was awful. The gas wasn't working and my daughter experienced pain during the visit. Mostly b/c she wasn't sniffing alot. But she's 4. The tech was awesome. She explained everything that she was going to do in a manner that kids could understand. But when Dr. Bozalis came in it was horrible. He was getting real frustrated with her. She was upset b/c it hurt. The way he was talking to her was in a real stern like talking to an adult voice, she doesn't respond well to that. He only got 1 filled, she was supposed to have 2. I am most certainly NOT going back there. I realize that it can be difficult for a dentist to work with kids, and for the kids it can be tough sitting in that chair getting their teeth drilled. His chair-side manner was horrible. I would not recommend this dentist. In my case it seemed like he did not work well with kids.
