After seeing Dr. Gilbert on a local television station take calls from viewers for several weeks, I called and made an appointment with his office for my 3 year old daughter. During the initial exam he seemed professional, and made a recommendation for treatment. I wasn't impressed with his office or his staff. We returned a few days later to have a cavity filled, and one tooth crowned. Dr. Gilbert didn't feel that my 3 year old needed to be sedated in anyway, other than the injections to numb her gums. My child began to squirm and panic and Dr. Gilbert completely lost his temper, and actually threw the syringe across a countertop. He was then very short and rude to me, and his staff who had come over to try to help the situation. He told me I would have to reschedule so that my child could be put under by general anesthesia. I walked out and never looked back!
