I used this service to read reviews of Dr. Karzen before going to her practice... and was very shocked to not agree with her positive review. The only work I had done was to get an old filling that Dr. Karzen said was loose replaced (though now that I think about it, I'm not so sure it actually was loose, as it wasn't bothering me... maybe she just wanted to be able to charge me for a filling even though I didn't have any cavities)... The positive? I didn't feel a darn thing when she did the procedure. The negative? I was in constant pain for 2 months (to the point of not being able to eat) because she hit a nerve but, thanks to all the anesthetic (more shots than I've ever had),I couldn't feel anything the at the time, therefore couldn't complain of any discomfort... Also, when I first read there was a TV in the room, I thought that was kind of cool... Except that Dr. Karzen's eyes were on Judge Judy when she was using the drill in my mouth... which is probably why she hit a nerve! I would absolutely not recommend Dr. Zarzen or her office. This was the worst dentist experience I've had in my life.

About Hygienist: The hygienist dug into my gums with a pointy object when I said I couldn't afford the expensive cleaning the doctor recommended and that I could only afford what my insurance paid for at the moment... She scraped my gums and (obviously!) they bled... in hopes of convincing me to doll out an extra $300 I didn't have because "Look! Your gums are bleeding!"... I went home with welts and deep cuts on my gums... Though some of them might also have been from the drill that Dr. Karzen was moving around haphazardly on the opposite side of my mouth to where the filling was that she was supposed to be replacing... So many shots of anesthesia that I couldn't complain at the time... only think it was very strange!)
