The nurses were nice, but were too quick with my three year old. They did not give her a chance to feel comfortable, and ended up using restraint to look in her mouth. Needless to say, she never warmed up to being in the office or sitting in the examination chair. Dr. Prichard was also nice, but did not listen very well or give me much time to answer my questions. Overall, I felt rushed and there was little consideration for my child's fear. The way they dealt with her stress on our next visit was to give her a drug to calm her down before her procedure, rather than take the time to make her feel comfortable. The medicine had the opposite effect, and she screamed and cried the whole visit. So, they used restraint again to look in her mouth, and told us we would have to go to the hospital for her procedure. We will not be going back. It was not a good experience for me or my child.
