My children have been going to Dr. Martin for at least 6 years, and they definitely look forward to going to the dentist as a result of his very kid-friendly office and demeanor. I wanted to find a pediatric dentist who would create a positive environment and thus make going to the dentist a fear-free experience, and Dr. Martin has definitely fit that bill. He is very friendly and has a great way with children. Moreover, he never fails to explain the dental procedures and progress to both the patient and the parent(s). Dr. Martin has a staff of dental hygienists who are very knowledgeable and also work well with children Two of my children cannot tolerate the regular fluoride treatment without retching, so the hygienists will readily substitute a more tolerable procedure.
Also, Dr. Martin will use laughing gas and/or Novocaine as required, depending upon the wishes/needs of the parents and children. My children have had teeth pulled, fillings, cleanings, and sealants applied, and all with no complaints.
His front office staff is very helpful with insurance; we have Delta Dental and they have always done all the paperwork.
