This was my first experience going to a periodontist. At the initial consultation Dr. Milliken was kind, relaxed and very thorough in his explanations of what my problem was, what his examination was meant to discover and what his conclusions were. He is very congenial but as well, completely competent and professional. I felt in very capable hands. Nevertheless I was nervous going a week later into my first "deep root cleaning". As it turns out, I had no real need to fear- Dr. Milliken's hands are both both extremely gentle (i hardly felt the novocaine shots) and very expert and the process was over quickly. So happy I was referred to this great doctor. I don't know how to compare the price of his treatment, so the above "rating" must be viewed in that light.
