Dr Finney did a good job on my dental surgery, but the cost was not what I expected. I was told an amount prior to the surgery, and it ended up being significantly more than quoted. I recently was refered to Dr Finney's office again, and I was charged almost $100- for the initial consultation which I was told was to be covered. When I asked about this I was told that the health insurance pre-approval to cover a cost does not mean they will. When discussing the pricing prior to the procedure I felt like I was at a car dealer, not a medical office. I will be seeking another referal as the cost is an important factor to me and a patient should always have at least a ballpark cost prior to a procedure.
