I found Dr. Engdahl via this site. He was highly recommended for his ability to put patients at ease and his exceptional technique which is gentle, yet thorough. I totally concur with this assessment after seeing him for over five years. His ability to allay my fears during extensive root planing confirmed that I had made the right choice. I need to see a dental professional every three months due to an inherited proclivity to accumulate tartar, and unlike other clinics, it is Dr. Engdahl himself that does the cleaning, leaving the polishing to his capable and affable assistant. I heartily recommend him to anyone who is fearful and looking for the BEST periodontist in the Bay Area.
