Dr. Farthing was very honest with me and, in my opinion, the most EXCELLENT surgeon in his field. I had an implant. He was going to graft bone around the implant since there was some bone loss shown on x-rays. He opened up the gum and found infection and a complex situation. I very much appreciated his candor. He said that it was going to be a risk to continue the bone graft around the implant and he recommended that we remove the implant right then. I don’t believe most dentists have this kind of expertise to change course and do the correct procedure on such short notice. Most likely this put him behind in his schedule for his day. The amazing thing is that I only had to take one pain pill. I’ve been thought a lot of surgeries on this particular tooth. With other surgeons, its days of pain and sleepless nights. Not with his procedure. While the site is tender, it's amazing how pain free the recovery has been. I was back to work the same day. I attribute this to his excellent, skillful work. This is your "go-to guy" for specialty procedure!
