Long story but I had to have braces after baby was born, to reclaim extra spaces for a missing tooth. After that was completed, the very handsome, deaf-friendly, and competent Dr. Mark Moxley installed a dental implant. I was in several times both before and after procedures for planning & followup. The waiting room is awesome - refrigerated drinks, yummy cookies, lots of interesting books & magazines and sunny pleasant view. I was always well cared for and felt appreciated. We had no problems with implant and after about a year or two of followups, I was released to my regular dentist for continuing care. My implant still functions well, no problems with it, looks great, feels great (of course, crown installed by the dentist. It's a team effort!). I'm very happy with the work done, the relaxed way during the actual surgical procedure, the way pain issues were dealt with immediately (at one point the numbness sort of wore off, and they gave me another shot to re-numb it.). It was always very clean. I have no qualms about recommending Dr. Moxley, but there is an element of personal responsibility to properly care for and maintain my own implant - that's true regardless of which doctor you go to.
About Hygienist: I had several hygienists who assisted Dr. Moxley during my various appointments and I'm sorry I can't remember names. This website wasn't around that I knew of back in 2001-2003 or so when treatment was taking place. But in any case, I always felt like I was being cared for by thoroughly competent and professional hygienists with pleasant manners and attention to cleanliness and careful detail.
