Dr. Then is skillful, kind, and sensitive and could be a great doctor in another setting, but honestly, my overall experience in this two-doctor office was horrible. I did not feel valued or respected. I was treated rudely and given incomplete and bad information.
While I was in the chair undergoing a graft, difficult and challenging surgery, 3 or 4 times someone came into the room and interrupted the surgery. Once it was the other doctor wanting an opinion and I was just left me sitting there with barely an apology, as if this were a routine thing. Another time it was someone from the front office with a question about somebody else's paperwork; she was incredibly rude and disrespectful to both the doctor and me, and never even said excuse me.
The written directions they gave me for aftercare were unclear and incomplete and some of them were messily crossed-out.
The hygenist who took out my stitches seemed to me to be bad at her job. She caused me a lot of needless pain when she should have called the doctor to help her, and she didn't explain things clearly. I had another hygenist once who was great, but this office clearly does have it together when it comes to the patient's overall experience.
