Got real bad news from her, gum grafts for all 4 quadrants or 19 teeth or I would lose them, also an implant. Had also deep scaling done (deep teeth cleaning). I got second opinions from two other independent periodontologist (one at University of Pennsylvania). Both agreed gum transplant was only needed for 2 teeth, and the implant was legitimate. They also recommended scaling. They were shocked after I told them it was done a week earlier. It was of extremely poor quality. One periodontologist took my finger and rubbed my teeth, he said it should not feel rough but smooth. I did recall no polishing was done as required. There were other areas that had not been cleaned ($1400 job). I don't want to draw any conclusions, but to me these facts did not give me confidence in this practice. My bill was also inflated, but I did receive a refund after pointing out the inconsistencies.
