I had extensive periodontal work done in the late 1990s by Dr. Millett. All teeth were saved, but bone buildup only worked here and there. I only needed mild pain relief after the surgeries (usually aspirin).
He has been my regular dentist following the periodontal work (my long-time dentist retired as my periodontal work was under way).
About Hygienist: Usually cleaning, etc. is done by Dr. Millett, sometimes by a dental hygienist. I'm happy either way.
