I ranked treatment success as a 2, but my daughter received no treatment--didn't want to say they don't know their procedures when I don't know that.
Rindler Periodontics recommended surgery for my daughter. I pre-paid for the surgery. I cancelled prior to the surgery because of problems with my insurance and FSA reimbursement. I notified the office in advance of the previously scheduled appointment, and I requested a refund of my more than $2200. fee. That's been a month now, and NO REFUND yet! I've called the office numerous times, but the receptionist/bookkeeper makes excuses (dr's busy, out of town, it's on his list of things to do). There is no contention that I am not due this refund.
I had intended to reschedule my daugher's surgery for January, but I won't now. I'm sure they are busy, but for me, that $2200. is a lot of money, and there is no reason I can see why they can't write a check and mail it or let me pick it up. It would only take a few minutes. A month is too long to have to wait for a return of money owed to me. I'll write again if I ever get a refund.
