Went to this office base on referral for "one troubled tooth". Seeking answer on how to cure / fix / repair this "one troubled tooth." The only solution I got back from the doctor was the "whole" mouth treatment and his way of doing things. I can understand that, but let's focus on my "one troubled tooth" for now and worry about the rest later... the doctor gave me a feeling of it's going to be his way or the highway and there was no compromise; he even said I will not be helping you with the "one troubled tooth" it will be another dentist. Feels like if it ain't in their best interest ($), they won't do help you. About 6 weeks later I get a statement from this office that I owe $65 because my insurance didn't cover the whole exam fee. Well, my insurance does cover 100% and based on the usual customary and reasonable charge and in this case, this office over charged by that amount. I later spoke with the office manager, Lisa who was going to discuss with the doctor (akimoto) who performed the exam about the chage and get back to me But instead, my wife gets a call from the office later while she's at work. My wife was humiliated by akimotos office staff on the phone and was demended for the $65.05 payment over the phone. Watch out
