W Peter Hansen has taken care of my teeth for twenty years. Although my mouth unfortunately presents some significant challenges, Dr Hansen has helped me keep thirty teeth fully functional and pain-free (I've needed just one root canal, and one wisdom tooth had to be pulled). He helped me keep a nice smile in spite of many extensive restorations - none of which has ever required any attention after he performed them.
Personally, he is gracious, thoughtful, attentive, and respectful. Technically he is an artist and a perfectionist. On the two occasions when I had dental pain, he saw me and resolved matters immediately. His charges are reasonable, and he is quite agreeable to discussing them in advance. I am very fortunate to have been referred to him when he first opened his office on the Peninsula.
I don't have dental insurance, so I can't comment on that, but the billing has always been prompt, accurate, and clear. The hygienists have always been thorough and very professional.
