Dr Vergo has made a number of obturators for me since being treated for adenoid cystic carcinoma in 1983. After being bounced around from doctor to doctor throughout the pre/post-surgical procedure and healing period, it was an incredible relief to finally meet a doctor who was willing to listen to my fears and do everything possible to make the experience as painless and stress-free as possible. His natural warmth, wit, and good nature can quickly put the most timid patients at ease.
In the ensuing years, I've had a number of dentists ask who've made my obturators. When I mention Dr Vergo's name, every single one of them has told me that (s)he was either a past student of his, or knows of his reputation and has sent many of their patients to him.
There may be less expensive prosthodontists out there, but I've found his work to be worth every penny. I can't recommend him enough.
