The office was clean and the people, including Dr. Colwell, were very nice. He didn't have a protocol like raising your hand if it hurt. But he made sure not to hurt. Still it would have been reassuring. He doesn't wear a mask and I heard him cough in the other room, and once when he entered my room. He was friendly and explained what he was doing at each step which destressed me. He was telling jokes to his assistant while he was working on me which either means he is so confident that it's no big deal or that he doesn't focus on his work. Besides the mask, the only thing I really didn't like was that he seemed overbooked: he did one step, left for 20 minutes, came back and did the next step, left again for half an hour, and then came back and finished. I would have much rather have done one step and then come back another day. The waiting is probably the most stressful because you don't know for sure what's coming next.
