I had a routine filling that turned into a nightmare. After the procedure, I was in excuriating pain for over a month ( I was taking Tylenol all the time and going to sleep at 6:00 pm just so I wouldn't have to deal with it) before the dentist would see me again. At that point, I was told it was all my imagination and some people just couldn't tolerate pain. I had a temporary filling put in and had to return in a month. I returned and had a permanent filling put in. However, I still have problems with this tooth to this day, two years later. Unfortunately, due to my experience I am afraid to go see another dentist and have lived with the discomfort.
