I had a terrible experience getting several fillings and a tooth replaced. As I was lying on her chair, numbed up with my mouth gaping open , Dr Samani turned to me and said 'You wanted tooth colored fillings right?'. I answered yes, assuming that she would not be trying to deviate from the quote she had given only a couple of days earlier when I came in for a cleaning and assessment. I found out of course when I went to pay that I was being charged several hundred more than my quote because tooth colored fillings are not covered. The tooth that needed to be replaced was ground down and a metal cap put on it, and I made another appointment to get the new tooth put on. As the numbing medication wore off, I was startled to discover a big chunk of my molar was missing, and wedged in between my cheek and gumline. I immediately drove from work and showed Dr Samani this piece of my tooth. She immediately snatched it away from me and told me it happened while putting a filling in my back tooth. Everything was 'normal' and 'fine'. When I came in to get my tooth replaced, she did not numb me before removing the metal cap from my stub of a tooth before grinding at it with her pic to get the glue residue off, completely ignoring my pain
