I am not impressed with Dr Samani. I chose her because she listed pedodontics in her profile and I was looking for a dentist to treat my entire family. My 7-year old daughter had a cavity in a baby tooth but after examining her, Dr Samani said she only performed limited services on children and would not be able to treat her. I then had to find another dentist, outside my insurance plan, to examine my daughter. By this time the tooth was loose so we ignored the expensive treatment recommendation from Dr Bookmyer and the tooth fell out shortly thereafter.
Dr Samani repaired my cracked tooth and at the same time I had her replace a metal filling on another tooth. Although she gave me quite a few numbing shots, removal of the metal filling was quite painful and the Dr had to give me more shots then come back later to finish the job. It has taken 1-1/2 years for both teeth to recover from being sensitive to hot & cold.
The Dr's office is rather run-down and doesn't appear to be too up-to-date. I'm changing my dental insurance and looking for a new dentist.
