I "inherited" Dr. Ward when my previous dentist left to start his own practice. The very first procedure he did was to re-do a crown that this previous dentist had done because it was packing food. It still packs food and during the procedure he knicked my front tooth.
He never once did a periodontal probe; I know have been diagnosed with periodontal disease because of 6-8 millimeter pockets around several of my teeth. Have done the first of three oral surgeries--three hours in the chair--with good success. It only cost me $1,700.00 dollars. More surgeries for bone grafts to be scheduled. His negligence will cost me a total of $5,000.00 dollars and possibly my real teeth. There is no certainty that these surgeries will "cure" the Periodontal disease. Cleaning every 4 months for the rest of my life is gong to be a reminder of his incompetance.
