Dr Ajay on first visit appears competent, focused, attentive, patient and thorough. After several visits and major work, there were significant concerns as to the appropriateness of the work, and doubt as to the thoroughness. Had a reasonable normal healthy mouth, but every issue became a major expensive issue (now query the diagnosis and requirement for several procedures), felt pressure to accept crowns that did not match or fit, with further pressure to undergo significant expensive aesthetic procedures (I did not). I raised gentle concerns after the first visit regarding the competence of his assistance, which were downplayed by Dr Ajay, and subsequent serious issues were completely disregarded and he suggested the concerns were made up, offering no apology or follow up with assistant. Appointment times are shared between patients in different rooms, with Dr Ajay moving between the semi private rooms, causing very long delays in the chair.
About Hygienist: Assistant lacks finess and during each visit either bashed my mouth with instruments, stumbled over cords attached to mouth fittings, or caused mouth injury with xray inserts being carelessly inserted. My children could both show actual injuries in their mouths from where their xray backboards were inserted careless, and my husband, a frequent dentist visitor for preventative care, thought her the most careless assistant he has had.
