One year ago today (7/7/14),Dr. Spano made a special provision to see my friend that day.If it had not been for the exception, my friend may not have gone to see any doctor. Dr. Spano's immediate examination provided the initial diagnosis of cancer. Upon the immediate realization, he referred my friend to a Specialist for further examination, wrote the referral, then repeatedly stressed the need to see the Specialist immediately. Because of the issue and urgency, Dr. Spano talked with the Specialist by phone before we left the office. Unfortunately, the Specialist stated to Dr. Spano during the conversation, that he could not assist my friend, so we had to pursue the Hospital emergency room, that day, per the Specialist's direction. I'm thankful and grateful to Dr. Spano for making the exception that day. If he had not, we may not have known my friend had cancer. Thank you, Dr. Spano for your heartfelt care & concern.
