Dr. Todd Gentling did my 5 year old's first dentistry ever. My son thought he was nice because they would always give him nitrous oxide. Dr. Gentling did a filling/veneer in my child's front teeth, and it "failed" in Dr. Gentling's terminology turning my sons front teeth brownish-gray. Dr. Gentling also put a silver crown on his pulp extraction instead of discussing it with me first to which i would have done a porcelain crown. Then our insurance told us that we had overpaid but when we questioned them they wouldn't refund our money. Because we questioned them my sons next checkup revealed that he was getting new fillings on his brand new permanent teeth. I was devastated. How could his new teeth need fillings? Well having experienced all that, my mom was like why don't you come to my dentist ; so we switched. My son had gotten his new patient checkup and everything looked great. So I asked him when are we going to fill those cavities on his new permanent teeth and our new dentist informed me they didn't have any cavities and they were perfectly fine. So Dr. Gentling wanted to fill perfect un-decayed teeth. Why would he do it? Thank God my new dentist caught that! My question is what else was done that shouldn't have been?
