Got scammed by this dentist. I had not been to the dentist for over a year and all the hygienist did was polish my teeth. There was absolutely no scaling done by the hygenist and the dentist scraped two of my bottom teeth and told me I was good to go. After leaving the office I verified with other hygienists that a quality dentist should manually scale your teeth at least once a year to properly remove the tarter. Although Dr. Griffing seemed like a very nice man, it appears he falls into the category of trying to cut corners when the customer has insurance that doesn't pay well. My email to the office was not responded to and when I called, the response was "I am sorry you feel that way," rather than to try to keep me as a patient.
