i had a retreat, and although i went to someone else for the drilling (specialist), he put on the permanent crown and I've never had any problems with it. The entire staff is extremely pleasant and always looking to make you feel comfortable. I personally don't have any issues with visiting the dentist, but if I did, I'm sure they would make my worries very minimal.
