I waited until things had fallen out of my mouth and I could not eat - after 4 of the worst dental visits of my life (warning: buyer definitely beware and yelp pacific dental "spa" before you go).
At San Mateo Dental Care, each and every person treated me with respect. My questions were answered fully, costs discussed in advance honestly. No upselling - no smoke and mirrors.
You are welcomed at the door as if you are the reason they opened the practice, even as other (clearly happy) patients arrive. The office is open, yet you feel your privacy respected as a patient.
Dr. Belen didn't just tell me what was going on - he showed me. He took x-rays, photos and took the time to analyze them before he showed me in detail what was going on. There was no hoping he was being honest - the tooth problems we discussed were in front of us both for a straightforward conversation, including live video.
Dr. Belen has a gentle tecnique, makes sure you know what is going on all the time, and involves his staff in your care in a professional, congenial atmosphere. You know that they like working together.
I'm writing this after extensive work yesterday afternoon. Am I sore? Yep - but not nearly as much as I was after less care at the other office. This is an office that helps you get over being afraid of dental care!
