Dr. McKinney is wonderful! I like that she does onlays ("partial crowns" that are made of porcelain--a lot of dentists aren't trained on how to do these) instead of crowns when she can. She doesn't have to remove so much tooth structure. The office is beautiful and every member of her staff is pleasant and fun to be around. I also like that I was offered gas, even for my cleanings. It's nice to be able to RELAX at a dental office! They also have headphones at every chair and can play anything you want. Blankets, hand warmers, neck rolls, the works! You can really tell that your comfort is a top priority here. They even make sure my eyelashes aren't hitting the safety glasses by putting a little cotton roll under the brige. Haha! I did a lot of price comparisons in the area (Eastside) and Seattle and found that Dr. McKinney is comparable, if not cheaper. All the high tech equipment (everything is new, digital and top-of-the-line) and "extras" made me think she would have higher fees, but she doesn't. Dr. McKinney takes the time to listen to your concerns and explain her suggestions for treatment. I've never felt pressured and rushed. She also doesn't overlap patients which is GREAT because I never have to wait!

About Hygienist: Inga is FABULOUS! She is the most gentle hygienist I have ever had clean my teeth. Seriously. And she does a great job--I love how my teeth feel when she's done with them! I've also been struggling with painful cancker sores my whole life and Inga suggested I let them use their laser on them. It's only been a couple days since I had them treated but they are feeling so much better. Apparently the laser works on cold sores too--having Dr. McKinney laser it right when you feel it coming on supposedly keeps it from erupting.
